Other Beginnings!

OK so this is really why I started a blog, because we have a new beginning that I wanted to share, and it's not that I got a cool computer. OK it's cool, and I'm very excited. But what we discovered on Dec 23rd, meant that "Santa" could have given his wife a lump of coal for Christmas and she would have been delighted with it (OK not quite true but hey... listen to the big news!)

We are expecting a new baby. Yes I never thought I would have more than one, but about 6 months or so I started realizing I could handle the concept of more chaos in my life, and then the "discussion" began with Trent. Which eventually led to me sitting on the side of the bed early Saturday morning of the 23rd of December, with a pregnancy test in my hand, waiting for the little blue cross to show me that indeed I wasn't dreaming and yes I was indeed pregnant.

So no, I have not seen a doctor yet, hey it's the holidays! And yes he could just tell me I'm completely out to lunch and that the 99% accurate test is wrong, but I don't think that is going to happen. So we will be four in August, late August.

So far everything is awesome. No I'm not going to post pictures of my poor belly yet, it's ugly and there is nothing but old stretch marks to look at. But hey this time I'm going into the pregnancy 100 plus pounds lighter and I may just try for some of those stunning shots that Trent tends to take of pregnant women, later, much later.

Hugs!

Happy New Year!

Received a new computer for Christmas, and realized that it is now time for me to create my own personal blog. So with a few minutes into the new year ticking by, and silly people outside with there incredibly noisy snowmobiles ringing in the new year I thought it the perfect time to start this up.

Yeah I know, what about parties? and family? and smooching, toasting and singing in the new year with 'auld lang syne". Well with a three year old, parties must be left early—but we did really enjoy our time at the Madsen's playing “bug your neighbour” (if no one has taught you how to play this then find the rules sometime and try it out! Very interesting fun card game). So we came home early, got Zoe to bed (late for her but before midnight), I cracked open the bottle of sparkling apple juice, poured two glasses for Trent (loving husband) and I and watched the computer tick towards midnight. Then we smooched a bit (but no singing) and then he's now downstairs watching Babylon 5 on DVD and I'm writing my first ever blog.

So that being said and done, this is kind of an intro... to say hello, to say welcome to my life, and to see some of the history behind some amazing pictures that have been taken of us, of our family and of our town. (What can I say, I'm proud of my man!)

Ah, by now you see why the title included blathering! Of course if you are family or friends you wouldn't expect less from me.

Hugs!
